The mausoleum of Hafez (renowned Persian poet) in Shiraz is among the top tourist destinations in Iran.

Shiraz is home to many touristy places, yet the city’s name is associated with the name of the world-known 14th century Persian poet, Shams-ud-Din Mohammad Hafez-e Shirazi.
